"With a moderately intense nose of ripe apples and oak setting the stage for its rich, well-filled flavors to come, this is a generous, fairly full-scaled Chardonnay that stops short of being in any way overdone. It is both sizeable and well-structured with a fine sense of layering that is sustained from beginning to end, and, while in no danger of fading in the next half-dozen or so years, it is an accessible, fully developed, wonderfully expressive wine ready to enjoy with flavorful seafoods and poultry dishes without further ado."
